Foaming cleanser

Non drying, comforting cleanser
5I have repurchased this cleanser, since it is a foaming cleanser that isn't drying at all due to the pump dispenser. I always feel like my skin is clean but not dry after cleansing, and I love it after an oil cleanse. I have sensitive acne and dermatitis prone skin, so finding good skincare products is always a challenge. Will repurchase once I've run out.

Good for me
5ove trying new products and change my routine on a regular basis, but this cleanser is the exception: I’ve bought it again and again for ages. The foam is super light and leathers on my face heavenly leavening my skin so clean but soft and hydrated at the same time. It’s pricey, but other Dr Sturm’s product are more expensive in comparison, but it lasts for months because you need the tiniest amount. As all the range no perfume and is so delicate and sensitive skin friendly.

A great all-rounder
5A cleanser isn't the easiest product to fall in love with but this one has me hooked. Light, airy and foamy as described. My skin feels perfectly clean (not squeaky), happy and balanced. I use this as a second cleanse knowing it's going to remove any leftover makeup + impurities my oil cleanser doesn't tackle. No irritation and a little goes a long way. Purslane soothes and Aloe joins the party to help repair.

Won’t use anything else
5This is my absolute best facial cleanser ever. It’s very gentle on the face but feels very cleansing. It has no fragrance or harshness to it which I love. ÂÂ

Silky soft cleansing
5Usually one to steer well clear of foaming cleansers, I knew that Dr. Barbara Sturm would be a mind-changer. While so many formulas now no longer strip and damage your skin barrier, I still find myself gravitating towards gels, oils and balms over anything that promises a foaming formulation. I imagine this is what touching a cloud would feel like, the texture is SO soft and light that it barely feels real, and you only need a little for the perfect cleanse. This has been an absolute dream as my refreshing morning cleanse, setting my skin up for my AM routine and removing all leftover skin care and impurities from my slumber. With a little dose of salicylic acid to keep pores clear and urea to keep moisture locked in, this is going to be a mainstay on my cleansing shelfie.

Created dry patches
2Controversial I know but I do like a foam cleanser in the morning, I bought this hoping to see great results. I have sensitive skin which is prone to reacting and boy has my skin reacted. I first started noticing dry patches between the brows; blamed it on the hot showers, central heating etc but after using this morning my skin looks like a snake. I am definitely going to omit from the routine to see if my skin gets better & will now introduce a different cleanse.ÂÂ

Drying
2It makes my skin dry and tight after using it. Not suitable for removing makeup. If I apply it to a wet face before removing my make-up, the foam disappears instantly.
