  • Dr Dennis Gross Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask

Image 1 of 1

Starring a cocktail of proven blemish-battling ingredients, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare’s Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask has a creamy texture that applies effortlessly – gliding over delicate complexions to help counteract congestion, speed detoxification and swiftly stop spots in their tracks. With 5% colloidal sulphur to absorb oil and diminish acne blemishes, alongside kaolin clay to help draw out embedded impurities, this minimises inflammation, calms redness and irritation and quells acne-causing bacteria. It’s SOS for complexions in crisis, and can be used regularly when skin’s misbehaving, or as a ‘safeguard’ to keep blackheads at bay and prevent those unwelcome eruptions. Apply all over or on targeted areas, and leave on overnight to wake up to a calmer, contented complexion.

Apply a thin layer to cleansed skin up to three times a day, either all over or in specific areas. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse. May be worn overnight and washed off in the morning.

Suitable for face, neck, chest and back.

If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of use.

This overnight treatment is essential for anyone whose skin is acneic, blemish-prone or congested – absorbing excess sebum and attracting embedded impurities to ‘detox’ your complexion overnight. The perfect preventative step whenever you can feel a breakout brewing, this also helps to speed up the demise of imperfections without over-drying easily-offended skin.

I used to live in Iceland where there is a lot of sulfur in the water; my skin was blemish-free. Since moving to the UK I have been getting nasty breakouts and this is my new go-to; I put a thin layer on whenever spots start rearing their ugly heads and wear it overnight. They're gone by morning!

Truly wanted to love this, it ticks all the boxes for my combo/break out prone skin. For some reason though my skin hates it. I have tried using overnight, as a 20-minute mask etc., it still does zero for my skin. Acne still there, some new ones come out to play as well. I love DDG peel products but if I need a clarifying mask I will stick with the DCL Detox Clay Mask.

Dries out skin and blemishes like nothing else. However, if you sleep with it one and it transfers to your eyes you may have a problem. I had a reaction around the eye area after sleeping with it on. I know only use it as a mask for a few hours and it does a lot of good.
