Things We Finish: Empties #2

Things We Finish - Empty Products #2

What happens when you have a host of beauty addicts with a veritable trove of beauty bounty in the basement? Compulsive shopping, followed by heart-breaking finishing of favourite skin care, hair (and brow) discoveries. Here’s what we’ve been using up (then rushing to re-buy) over the last few weeks…

Jenny swears by Living Proof’s {Full Shampoo} and {Conditioner} to keep her locks enviably glossy. With pioneering, volume-boosting technology, this ooomph-enhancing duo deposit thickening ‘dots’ between strands to give fine, shiny hair some great ‘tszuj’.

Cult 51’s bestselling {Night Cream} also comes with our Marketing Director’s highly prized ‘seal of approval’. Packed with potent, rehabilitative actives, this nourishing lotion recaptures lost lustre and refines skin texture to quickly transform your face’s fortunes.

And at the (much) more affordable end of the skin care spectrum, Embryollise’s {Lait-Crème Concentré} is a beauty wardrobe ‘staple’ – soothing, smoothing and priming, this £20 potion even masquerades as cleanser and hydrating, treatment mask whenever skin care cupboards are a little on the scant side.

I finished up quite a few favourites in the same week (sad times). The perfect ‘second step’ cleanser, Grown Alchemist’s {Gentle Gel} formula does exactly what its name implies – foaming to eliminate every last speck of make up without leaving my face feeling overexposed.

I also spent several minutes scraping every last molecule of Aurelia’s {Cell Revitalise Day Moisturiser} from its gorgeous pot. This stuff is… er… how to put this? Skin care crack? Glow-giving and non-greasy, it smells like heaven, sinks in instantly and leaves (left… *sob*) my face feeling like velvet.

Which brings me on to Su-Man’s stellar {Exfoliating Facial Polish} – coffee grains suspended in the most oozily unctuous oil, this gorgeous ‘scurf-eradicating’ (shudder) scrub is the perfect way to ‘wake up’ sluggish skin (and senses).

And RODIN’s {Crema} is indisputably la creme de la Crema… and is housed in super sleek and chic Scandi-style packaging (infinitely ‘gram-worthy).

Our Marketing Communications Manager Jennifer (and all of her fellow, festival-attending friends) are addicted to Omorovicza’s {Queen of Hungary Mist} – the face-freshening mist that smells like angels and feels like clouds *true fact*

And Digital Designer Dimi keeps her eyebrows ‘on fleeeeek’ with Anastasia’s {Brow Wiz} (which other?) – and because it’s such a make up bag essential, she always has two (in case the first goes walkabout – or gets ‘borrowed’).
