Inspired by her mother's natural and holistic work as an aesthetician and herb-healer, co-founder Julia Wills wanted to create skin care dedicated to the highest quality ingredients. Collaborating with her husband Alex Kummerow, the duo founded Herbivore with small-batch creations made from their Seattle kitchen. MEET HERBIVORES FOUNDERS
Having grown up with a love of crystals, healing and the supernatural, co-founder Julia Wills learnt about medicinal herbs from her mother— a practicing healer. This passion for a more holistic approach to life led her to study Human Psychology and Herbology at the Bastyr University in Seattle. When she met her partner Alex her was looking to help heal his eczema, so the dynamic duo combined their knowledge to create a clay soap which became an instant hit on Etsy, et voila Herbivore was born.
