This product is average at best. It's a bit difficult to know how to properly use it, especially since the product doesn't really foam up when washing out. It does have a slight cooling and tingly effect on the scalp when you put it on, but this is so minor and immediately goes away when washed out. In terms of rebalancing oil production, this did nothing (for reference my hair is fine and straight, and gets greasy easily). I can't speak for effect on scaly scalps however, as I do not have this problem. Basically, it's nice to have but not necessary, and I am sure there are much better and more effective scalp detox products out there.

I got this product as a freebie. I tried it once and I dont think I'll use it again. It felt like my hair was so dry after using it. You need a really good conditioner after using this.

Bought this and the exfoliating scrub shampoo and had really high hopes for them because of the reviews but unfortunately they left my scalp irritated after little usage. Suffered with irritation and a slight burning after using both. Really annoyed because I really wanted to like these products.

I purchased this along with it’s shampoo, great combination. Feels like you’ve had a scalp treatment. I also like the minty/cooling sensation after wash, overall a great product for angry scalp!  Scalp type: Combination, not flaking but angry and sore for sure. 

My scalp is often itchy and dry with red spots, flakes... not fun! Due to Covid, I haven’t been able to get my hair cut which makes it even worse, but this product has really made a difference! I just ordered my second tube as I’ve been using it pretty much with every wash (2-3 times a week) for 2 months. It’s like a moisturiser for your scalp! Even though you rinse it off, it leaves your scalp feeling calm and hydrated. Now we just need bigger tubes!
