I love the chocolate-minty scent of this shampoo, and how luxurious and refreshing it feels on my scalp. I live in Berlin, where the water is quite hard, and have had issues with my scalp (dry, itchy, flakey) and hair (weirdly dry & oily at the same time) since moving here. This shampoo helps. It isn't a magic cure. I still have some issues, but so far it's my favorite thing I've used (this is my third time buying it). For reference, I'm white, 41 years old, have mildly wavy/frizzy medium-brown hair that was pretty straight, soft, and shiny when I lived in Canada (maybe due to the water, maybe because I was younger, or both). My hair isn't thick or fine...maybe average. I wash it once or twice a week. Not a lot of styling. As a sidenote, if you're here looking for help with hard water, I've also recently bought the Hello Klean showerhead, and have used it a few times so far. I'm not seeing a huge difference yet, but my shower's drain seems to be happier at least
