Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit is Back in Stock!

The much-hyped, bestselling {Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Kit} is back in stock, and causing no less of a furore than expected. The six shades of ivory through to caramel-coloured powder, are perfect for your every sculpting need – whether you’re a seasoned pro, or contouring novice, this kit makes it easy to fake a set of Kate Moss-worthy cheekbones, and quickly draw attention to your favourite features.

The premise is simple – the darker shades go where the shadows should be; just beneath cheekbones, along the jawline, at the temples and down either side of the nose. Highlight is then applied to places that naturally catch the light (if you’re struggling, think of where you’d usually freckle in the sunshine); bridge of the nose, cheeks, centre of the forehead and your chin. Once you’ve mapped the ‘contours’ blend everything like your life depends upon it (Studio 10’s {Double Ended Cheek Brush} is designed for seamless buffing), then take a step back and survey your handiwork.

It’s best to start lightly – you can always add depth, but it’s trickier to un-do it. And don’t be afraid! It’s a lot less stressful than it sounds, and as with everything, a little bit of practice soon makes perfect. We’ve put together a Pinterest board, brimming with contouring tutorials and inspo for you to peruse at your leisure, and Anastasia Soare (a.k.a. Ms. Beverly Hills herself, make up guru to the AAA-List) answered Cult Beauty Co-Founder Alexia’s contouring questions {here}.

So what are you waiting for? Go forth and contour like a Kardashian (it also makes a gorgeous neutral eye shadow palette)!
