Serum-meets-moisturiser, Blithe’s potent potion is infused with 60% chaga mushroom extract – cold, rather than heat-processed to protect its powerful antioxidant properties – alongside a blend of fermented olive and argan oils to fortify skin’s fabric (and streamline your skin care regimen).     My skin has not reacted well. Tried it for 2 days and was rewarded with lots of little bumps on my normally smooth skin.

    I have very good skin for my age, and it has improved loads since starting double cleansing and actually looking after it. I have dehydrated skin that becomes oily/shiny within a few hours but is still tight and dry, especially on my forehead. My cult beauty products have dramatically improved my skin but this pressed serum is fabulous. A pea sized amount just on my face soaked in almost instantly and left my skin soft, hydrated and comfortable for 12 hours. It's not heavy in any way despite its thicker than serum texture. No breakouts at all (adult acne treated aged 40 with roacutane, excellent result but still get hormonal breakouts or if skin gets clogged). I think it would be best for dehydrated, mature or sun damaged skin rather than younger or oily skin. It's joined my must have list

    I have quite dry skin and this pressed serum suited me perfectly. This has a lovely custardy texture and doesn't feel thick on my skin at all, it absorbed without any stickiness or greasiness after a moment and I could layer sunblock or makeup on afterwards with no problem. The strange mushroom-y beige colour seems to have the added benefit of evening out my skin tone, so that any redness or unevenness seemed to be less prominent.
