I always use the BB brand for my sponges bcz I find that they last longer than cheaper alternatives. I always aim to try the different colors to see if there are any differences. I find that the black one is slightly softer than the original pink one which makes it better for more medium-natural results rather than full coverage.

I think it's hard to beat the original beauty blender, it does the job when it comes to blending and buffing in your foundation/base, and is really easy to work with. I have only ever used the beauty blenders from this brand so I can't compare to anything else, but I just think they're so good.
