Watermelon glow sleeping mask
5First time that I’m trying this product, and I love it. You apply a thin layer before to bed. Just dap in the product a bit, no worry that it’s still on your skin. It will enter in like 10 minutes. The smell is so good. The texture is a bit yelly but that’s really nice. My skin feels like velvet in the morning. I am a big fan. I think that this product is also good in summer. The watermelon smell brings an extra oomph to your night routine.

2OK, so I bought this mask because I LOVE using the brand's watermelon toner after cleansing, as that product truly adds moisture to the skin and works well with other potions in my skincare routine. Sadly, this sleeping mask is a hybrid of the toner and its sister moisturizer, and failing as a result. I use harsh night treatments to treat my acne-prone skin and this mask did nothing to relieve skin tightness or give me moisture back, not as a 10 minute mask, as a sleeping mask, on nights I use my acid serums and on nights I don't. It mostly just sits on my skin until it dries down. It is inferior to other water gel moisturizers (like Antipodes' excellent Baptise moisturizer) as well as other, heavier, moisturizing and calming masks (like Farmacy's Honey Potion Hydration Mask).

5This mask feels so nice and refreshing to apply at night, after my first use, the next morning I was shocked to see some of my spots had shrunk in size! I've been struggling with spotty skin lately and have been trying everything, but after using Glow recipe I noticed a difference so quickly. Will definitely be purchasing again.

5Love this product, I find it super hard to find night creams that aren't too heavy and block my pores but this is a dream. Feels a bit oily when you put it on but sinks in quickly. Skin looks alive in the morning.

3Let's not over-exaggerate by saying this is a bad product. I generally use this as the last step when I give my skin a full routine. It smells nice, the packaging is pretty. (I would like a spoon to take it from the jar and also to make sure it's well mixed with the smaller size.) However, I noticed that it does not penetrate my skin enough. It always leaves some "crumbs" on my skin after a while, so I feel that during the night everything just lays on my pillow. It's not a bad product because it leaves the skin moisturized and kind of glowy, and it's a nice step to seal everything. But I do not feel it's a must-have product, especially regarding the price.

4The mask smells and feels very nice, the packaging is good too (I like that its glass), applies nicely and spreads easily. I used it only as a night mask, and in the morning my skin felt amazingly soft and smooth, right until I wash my face. Then it's back to square one. I have very dry skin, so this isn't enough for me, so I'd use it to lock the moisture from other creams in. Maybe it is better for someone with normal or oilier skin than me. That being said, I recently got a second bottle that came in a set and I would gladly use it because I like the smell and texture and it works well on top of other creams.

5I have very sensitive combination skin so I was worried about the strong fragrance but when I applied the mask it felt SO refreshing and my skin had no problems with it ( which is pretty rare ). The best part is when I wake up in the morning my pores are almost invisible so when you apply your foundation the results are even better. I didn’t find it drying at all and you can use it with your serums and creams underneath and by itself. Remember to wash it off in the morning as you might have a little residue dried up on your face.
